I started my career in photography working for a very special friend and mentor. Allen Redd of Reflections by Allen asked me to work for him doing wedding photography back in the summer of 1999. I did not know anything about photography, so he said he would teach me everything I needed to know. I am very grateful for all the time he spent teaching me what I know today. I decided to start my own business in 2003 because I liked being able to make people happy with my work. Another good friend of mine named David Perkins helped me get started with digital photography. This opened up a lot of new opportunities for A Moment in Time because this allows the customer to view proofs instantaneously. One of the things I find most important in all the years that I have been doing photography is that a picture lasts a lifetime.
